How We Helped a Distributed Holding Centralize Operational Data Across 30 Locations
Client industry
HoReCa, holding company

Implementation period
6 months

Challenge
Create a unified solution to collect, synchronize, and analyze operational data across multiple locations, brands, and business units.
Key takeaways:
• Centralized operational data across up to 30 locations
• Real‑time visibility into revenue and cash flow
• Improved cost control and performance monitoring
• Scalable Power Platform solution
Disconnected Operational Data at Scale
The client operated a distributed holding with 30 locations, multiple brands, and diverse operational processes. Key business data such as revenue, costs, and operational indicators was collected manually and stored across different systems. This made it difficult to get a consolidated view of performance, monitor cash flow in a timely manner, and compare indicators across locations.

Creating a Unified Data Collection Strategy
Project objective was to design and implement a solution that would standardize operational data collection across all locations while remaining flexible enough to support different brands and business models. The solution needed to synchronize key indexes and indicators and provide management with accurate, up‑to‑date information for decision‑making.

Building Operate’n’Collect
We designed and developed Operate’n’Collect solution using Microsoft Power Platform, implemented as a Canvas Power App, SharePoint Online datalayer and Power BI reports. The solution consists of a suite of apps, services, and connectors that securely collect and manage operational data. SharePoint Online was used as the data platform, providing a reliable and accessible foundation for distributed teams.

Enabling Real‑Time Monitoring and Control
The app allows business users to collect operational data across multiple objects, locations, and brands in a consistent way. Centralized Power BI reports for holding managers and brand-managers help to monitor revenue, cash flow, and costs, enabling faster reaction to deviations and trends.
